About the Commission
The Connecticut Commission of Pharmacy operates within the Department of Consumer Protection and consists of six members appointed by the governor. Four members are pharmacists, actively engaged in the practice of pharmacy on a full-time basis during the term of their appointment and two are public members. At least two of the pharmacist members must be community pharmacists and at least one of the pharmacist members must be a hospital pharmacist. The Commission has jurisdiction over pharmacy practice in Connecticut and approves the licensure & registration of pharmacies, pharmacists, pharmacy interns and pharmacy technicians. The Commission meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 165 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, CT.
